Commercial Bank has announced the launch of its summer campaign, which rewards customers for using their debit card overseas from July 1 to September 30.
Bank customers who use their debit card for an overseas transaction such as an ATM cash withdrawal, an online transaction, or a transaction at a merchant outlet during the promotion period stand a chance to win back their holiday expenses.
Only one overseas transaction is needed to qualify by spending on a non-Qatari riyal currency for a minimum value equivalent to QR100 either at an ATM or in a retail outlet.
Commercial Bank’s Sadara members stand a chance to win back up to QR5,000 of their international spending made throughout the promotion period, while Personal Banking customers stand a chance to win back up to QR1,000 of their spending.

During this summer and travel period, we recognise that our customers need safe and secure payment options while travelling on vacation or visiting friends and family overseas and by using our Commercial Bank debit cards, we want to thank them for their loyalty by offering this special seasonal promotion.”
Commercial Bank debit cards eliminate the need to carry cash and can be used for a variety of daily transactions both at home and when travelling. Debit cards can be used where Visa cards are accepted and can be used to withdraw funds from ATMs or make payments directly to overseas merchants when shopping.
Commercial Bank debit cards are also Chip and PIN-enabled, providing customers with protection from card misuse. They are also 3D Secure-enabled, which offers customers the security they need when using their debit cards to shop online.
Commercial Bank also urges customers to contact its call centre in advance at +974 44490000 to notify the bank of their travel plans and ensure that their cards can be used seamlessly while travelling overseas.
