HE the Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani  chaired the Cabinet’s regular meeting at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.
The Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda as follows:
The Cabinet was briefed on the programmes, plans and mechanisms established by the ministries to implement the mandates and directives included in the speech of HH the Emir at the opening of the 43rd Ordinary Session of the Advisory Council, and decided that all competent authorities shall take action to follow up the implementation of those programmes, plans and mechanisms.
The weekly meeting approved the following:
1. A Cabinet draft decision amending the organisation of some administrative units of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning along with specifying their terms of reference. It approved a draft decision by the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning in relation to creating new administrative units of the Ministry along with specifying their terms of reference .  
2. A cabinet draft decision amending the organisation of some administrative units of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs along with specifying their terms of reference. It approved a draft decision by the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in relation to creating new administrative units of the Ministry along with specifying their terms of reference.  
3. A Cabinet draft decision amending the organisation of some administrative units of the Ministry of Transport along with specifying their terms of reference. It approved a draft decision by the Minister of Transport in relation to creating new administrative units of the Ministry along with specifying their terms of reference.  
The Cabinet also approved a Cabinet draft decision to form an audit committee on information technology purchases, and approved a draft decision by the Minister of Communication and Information Technology relating to setting of fees for registering Qatari Internet domain ‘DOHA’.
It also gave approval for conducting talks in air transport field with the Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo.  
The meeting reviewed the following topics and took appropriate decisions:
1. An Advisory Council recommendation relating to draft law on births and deaths record.
2. A memo by the Foreign Minister and head of Qatar Committee for Alliance of Civilizations on the first report on the implementation of Qatar plan for alliance of civilizations (2014 - 2016). The plan includes a number of programmes and activities aimed at achieving the goals of alliance of civilizations and the authorities concerned organised during the first year of the plan a number of programs and activities in order to realize the plan’s objectives.  
3. A memo by the Minister of Energy and Industry on the recommendations of the 40th meeting of GCC industrial co-operation committee (Doha, May 215)
4. A memo by the Finance Minister on the minutes of the 100th meeting for GCC financial and economic co-operation committee (Doha, May 215).
5. A letter by the Justice Minister on the report by a Committee tasked with development of the family courts in the State of Qatar.
6. A letter by the National Committee on Arms Embargo with regard to its 31st report on the committee’s activities during the period from 1/1 to 30/40/2015.
