Justice Minister meets Azeri envoy
HE the Justice Minister Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr al-Mohannadi met the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Qatar Tofig Abdullayev.
They discussed relations between Qatar and Azerbaijan and ways of enhancing them in various legislative and judicial fields.
Qatar-Somalia ties reviewed
Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Investment Abdisalam Hadiye Omar met the Acting Charge d’affaires of Qatar’s embassy in Mogadishu Hassan bin Hamza Asad Mohamed.
They reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them.
Real estate transactions
Total trading of real estate sales contracts registered with the Land Registry Department of the Ministry of Justice from June 14 to 18 reached QR1.1bn.
According to the weekly bulletin issued by the department, the real estate sales included lands, multi-use housing and residential buildings . The sales transactions were centred in Doha, Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Dhakira, Al Zain, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah and Al Shamal.
QCS honours Aisha Alfardan
Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) has appointed Qatari businesswoman Aisha Hussain Alfardan as an honorary ambassador in recognition of her contributions to charitable and humanitarian work and community service.
QCS Director General Mariam Hamad al-Nuaimi, planning and follow-up head Abdulaziz, head of QCS culture and social committee Dr Dera al-Dosari presented QCS shield to Aisha Hussain Alfardan in recognition of her efforts. Alfardan expressed her readiness to co-operate with QCS.
