Jaidah Automotive has partnered with the Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian services (RAF) to launch its road safety iftar project during the holy month of Ramadan.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the exclusive dealer of Chevrolet in Qatar and organiser of ‘Why Risk It’ campaign is distributing 300 iftar meals to drivers at major traffic signals in Doha for commuters to break their fast.
The campaign, which will last for the whole month of Ramadan, aims to spread road safety awareness amongst drivers in Qatar by adopting an “innovative and non-traditional approach.”
A dedicated team from both Jaidah Automotive and RAF will give away meal boxes branded with the ‘Why Risk It’ campaign illustrations and messages.
“This unique campaign includes new and creative ideas for road safety awareness,” said Jaidah Automotive director of operations Khaled Samir.
