HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani received Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, who is also the second deputy prime minister,
at Hamad International Airport yesterday. The Saudi crown prince was on a short visit to Qatar.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday met with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince, Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, who is also the second deputy prime minister and minister of defence.
The Saudi crown prince conveyed the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as well as the greetings of Saudi Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mohamed bin Nayef al-Saud, who wished HH the Emir and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.
The Emir sent his greetings to the Saudi king and the crown prince, wishing them and the Saudi people further progress and prosperity.
The meeting dealt with bilateral relations and ways to enhance them to the benefit of both people.
They also discussed regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of joint interest.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani attended the meeting. Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Adel bin Zaid al-Toraifi and Minister of State member of the Saudi cabinet Khalid bin Abdulrahman al-Eissa also attended the meeting.
The Emir later hosted a dinner banquet in honour of Deputy Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman and the delegation accompanying him on the visit.
The banquet was attended by the Deputy Emir.
