A major fire broke out at a workshop and neighbouring workers’ accommodation of a contracting firm at Al Wakra yesterday. The fire caused huge damage to the buildings and goods worth millions of riyals were destroyed, according to sources. The Ministry of Interior said on its Twitter account that the Civil Defence contained the fire at the carpentry workshop and there were no casualties. Picture shows a fire tender dousing the blaze.
