An African expatriate, apparently an Ethiopian, was killed after being knocked down by a speeding truck on Salwa Road.
He was in his late 20s, sources told Gulf Times.
His body was moved to the Hamad Medical Corporation mortuary in Doha, they said.
In recent weeks, a number of road traffic accidents involving pedestrians were reported from across Doha.
