HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has attended a dinner banquet hosted by US President Barack Obama in honour of Their Highnesses and Excellencies heads of delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states attending the Camp David Summit.

Besides HH the Emir, the function was attended by the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Bahrain's Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Oman's Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said and the GCC Secretary-General Dr Abdullatif al-Zayani.

During the dinner banquet, which was held in the Blue Room of the White House the two sides talked about the strategic relations between the GCC states and the US and ways of enhancing them in all fields in addition to the situation in the Middle East.
