Cityscape Qatar 2015 has announced that United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari shareholding company and the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, will participate as foundation sponsor in this year’s event.
Cityscape takes place on May 11-13 at the Doha Exhibition Centre.
UDC’s primary objective for participating in Cityscape Qatar 2015 is to showcase The Pearl-Qatar as a world-class, mixed-use urban development and to highlight the role it plays in promoting Qatar’s growing perception as a destination for luxury development and investment, according to a statement.
UDC aims to continue to identify and invest in long-term projects that will contribute to Qatar’s growth, such as The Pearl-Qatar, the statement adds.
Roger Dagher, director of corporate communications at UDC, said the company is eager to be the main sponsoring participant, particularly because the exhibition is a platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas, providing opportunities to promote major real estate developments while networking, communicating and forging partnerships with some of the leading regional and international real estate and investment companies.
Dagher stressed that UDC aims to showcase some of the beautiful properties The Pearl-Qatar has to offer. “As a mixed-use urban development, The Pearl offers a variety of residential and retail opportunities. Thus, we are delighted to participate with a 500sqm stand, showcasing an impressive model of the island.”

Cityscape Qatar 2015 will feature over 80 exhibitors, covering an area of 10,000sqm and an expected 8,000 visitors - making it the largest real estate event in Qatar, the statement notes.
The free-to-attend exhibition will showcase a wide range of real estate investment opportunities and services for private and professional investors as well as key industry professionals from Qatar, the region and around the globe. Further, Cityscape Qatar 2015 will explore diverse projects and potential opportunities in delivering upon Qatar National Vision 2030.
