Qatar Primary Materials Company (QPMC) was a gold sponsor of the second conference on Labour Rights Protection and the related progress report book released yesterday. The conference was organised by the National Human Rights Committee, under the patronage of the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs HE Dr Abdullah Saleh Mubarak al-Khulaifi.
Speaking on the occasion, QPMC CEO Eisa al-Hammadi said: “We apply Qatari labour laws for all our employees as well as suppliers and contractors, and expect their strict adherence to all national and international labour standards prior to doing business with them.” “Qatar is the ultimate model of an integrated community which values ethnic and cultural diversity and equally embraces the concept of living in perfect synergy. To that end, we at QPMC support initiatives that assist in fostering such a culture,” he added.
