General Authority of Customs (GAC) chairman Ahmed bin Ali al-Mohannadi has held a meeting with Indian ambassador Sanjiv Arora, where they discussed various aspects of co-operation between
Qatar and India in the field of Customs. During the meeting, they held deliberations on issues related to Customs work and its role in protecting the security of the country and facilitating foreign trade, as well as the role of government authorities that operate at ports. The two parties also discussed the importance of developing Customs human resources and updating various Customs procedures, including passenger clearance and checking of shipments. Customs-related statistics from both countries were also reviewed during the meeting.
