HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday sent cables of congratulations to President Omar al-Bashir on his re-election as president of Sudan.
The Emir wished President Bashir success and the Sudanese people more development and growth.

Advisory Council
holds meeting


The Advisory Council yesterday held its weekly regular session chaired by Speaker HE Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi.
The Advisory Council discused a draft law amending some provisions of law No 21 of 1989 organising marriages to foreigners.
