The Ministry of Interior's Service Centres at Mesaimeer and Rayyan will function on Saturdays between 8am and noon, it was announced.
The United Services Department director Brigadier Abdullah Ahmad al-Ansari said that services such as visa, residence permit, sponsorship change, company registration, Qatari passport, traffic, exit permit and e-government will be provided on Saturdays as well.
Brigadier al-Ansari added that this system would be implemented in all other service centres shortly in order to lessen the burden of the customers, especially of those who are unable to visit the centres during the week days.
