Al Jazeera Children’s channel (JCC) took part in the MIPTV Forum held in Cannes, France.
JCC presented several of its programmes and shared them with global companies, which also produce shows targeting the same age group.
JCC participated in the forum with a host of programmes, series and competitions, including Tijan Annour, an international competition for Qur’an recitation, ‘Hokayman and her Friends’, ‘Uncle Mosleh’s Tales’, ‘Shams and Rami’ and ‘Min Qessas al Salheen’.
Saad al-Hudaifi, acting executive general manager and channel director, said, “We are interested in all child-centred activities; hence, we always keep an eye on international companies and follow up on their production of kids’ programmes. Undoubtedly, our participation in the MIPTV Forum is an excellent opportunity to meet with leading media institutions and global content industry companies, which are concerned with children’s media.
JCC seeks to be present in all world-class exhibitions, aiming to enrich its output and deliver high-quality programmes that are loved by kids and trusted by parents, according to a statement.
