The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced a free recall campaign for Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles made in 2014 due to a default in the electronic system of the steering wheel.
The campaign is jointly conducted with the United Cars AlMana group, the authorised dealer of Jeep and Dodge vehicles in Qatar.

FM meets French official
HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly Elisabeth Guigou in Paris yesterday.  
They exchanged views on issues of common concern and discussed the latest developments in the region.

Qatar-US defence ties reviewed

HE the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Major-General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah met the Vice-Admiral John Miller, Commander of US Naval Forces Central Command/United States 5Th Fleet/Combined Maritime Forces, and his accompanying delegation, in Doha yesterday.  
The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between Qatar and the United States and means of enhancing them, in addition to issues common concern.  
The US Ambassador to Qatar Dana Shell Smith and senior armed forces officers attended the meeting.

Justice Minister holds meetings
HE the Minister of Justice Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr al-Mohannadi met a number of ministers of justice who are  participating in the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.  The minister also held separate meetings with the Justice Minister of Azerbaijan Fikret Mammadov,  Costa Rican Justice Minister Cristina Ramirez Chavarria, Justice Minister of Sweden Morgan Johansson, and Justice Minister of Austria Dr Wolfgang Brandstetter.
