HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi met yesterday with Undersecretary of Polish Foreign Ministry Katarzyna Kacperczyk. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them, in addition to issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by a number of Foreign Ministry’s officials.
Meanwhile, HE Assistant Foreign Minister for International Co-operation Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani met yesterday with Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to issues of common concern.

Seven-year jail term for murder
A criminal court has sentenced an Asian expatriate to jail, for seven years for killing a colleague after a row, local Arabic daily Arrayah has reported. The court has also ordered his deportation on completion of the prison term. The convict had stabbed the victim several times and caused grievous injuries. Both used to live in the same accommodation and the incident occurred following an altercation after reportedly consuming liquor, according to the report.

Dental unit closed for maintenance
The Primary Health Care Corporation  has announced that the dental unit at Al Muntazah  Health Centre will be closed for maintenance on Friday and Saturday, and reopen on Sunday. For dental emergency cases on these days, patients can visit Umm Ghawlina Health Centre.
