Chairman of Sudan’s Darfur Regional Authority al-Tijani al-Sisi, who is also the head of the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM), praised the Qatari leadership yesterday for the role it played in establishing peace in Darfur.  
Speaking exclusively to Qatar News Agency (QNA), al-Sisi said that holding elections on schedule will contribute to advancing security and stability in Sudan. He said that armed movements have turned into political parties after signing the Doha Agreement, which promoted peace in the region.  
On the campaign of LJM, he said that their party made a campaign across Sudan. He added that the party is very keen on facing the challenges ahead of the country.
He called on the people of Sudan to practise their constitutional right and take part in the upcoming elections. He added that supporters of his movement are filled with appreciation to the Qatari leadership for the role it played in promoting peace in Darfur.
