HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kuwari and Chinese Minister of Culture Luo Shugang have signed a document announcing of the Qatar-China Cultural Year 2016, during the official visit of the Minister of Culture to China.
Before signing the document, the two sides held a session of talks to discuss cultural relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them.
The signing ceremony and the talks session were attended by Charge d’affaires of the Qatari embassy to China Abdullah Saif al-Khayreen.
Minister al-Kuwari paid a visit to the Chinese National Museum and the Palace of the Forbidden City in Beijing, expressing his appreciation for the rich culture of China and the depth of the historical relations between the Arabs and the Chinese. He stressed that 2016 will see many different events within the framework of the excellent and historical relations between two countries.
