Oryx GTL has renewed its support to the Mental Health Friends Association (Weyak) following the success of the “self-construction map” project. In this regard, Mohamed Sharif al-Mushiri, chief commercial officer at Oryx GTL, handed over a cheque to Mohamed al-Binali, executive director of Mental Health Friends Association. Al-Mushiri thanked the Mental Health Friends Association for the “self-construction map” and commended the Supreme Education Council for supporting the project. On his part, al-Binali thanked Oryx GTL and its staff for their continuous support to the association and wished the company further success. The “self-construction map”, pertaining to the food table and exercise, was distributed in most independent and private schools in the State. Through this work, Oryx GTL aims to support the national strategy for mental health as it is considered an important part of the national health strategy (2011-2016).
