Qatari leaders send condolences to Kuwaiti Emir
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables to the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah condoling Sheikha Sebika Ibrahim al-Mudhaf, wife of the late Sheikh Abdullah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

Culture Minister meets French, Japanese officials
HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Dr Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kuwari met the President of the Association of National Museums of France, Dr Jean-Paul Closele, who is currently visiting Doha to participate in the “Technical Innovation Conference for Tomorrow” organised by the New York Times newspaper under the auspices of the Qatar Museums Authority and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage.
Talks during the meeting dealt with aspects of cultural co-operation between the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage and the Association of National Museums of France.
Dr al-Kuwari also met a visiting delegation from the Japanese Cabinet Secretariat comprising Special Adviser to the prime minister of Japan, Isao Kiso, Adviser to the Cabinet Secretary, Io Amoto Kengo and Managing Director, National Congress of Industrial Heritage, Koko Kato.
Aspects of cultural co-operation between Qatar and Japan and nomination of Meiji Industrial Revolution: Kyushu-Yamaguchi and Related Areas as Unesco World Heritage Sites were discussed.
