HE Yousef bin Ali al-Khater yesterday submitted his credentials to Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace as Qatar’s Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. He conveyed to the Queen greetings of HH the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, and his keenness on enhancing ties between Qatar and Britain. Queen Elizabeth wished more progress and prosperity to HH the Emir and the Qatari people, and more development to relations between the United Kingdom and Qatar.
