South Korean President Park Geun-hye arrived in Doha yesterday on an official visit to Qatar. She was received at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, Qatar’s ambassador to South Korea, Mohamed Abdullah al-Duhaimi, and South Korea’s ambassador to Qatar, Chung Keejong. HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will hold official talks with the president tomorrow on bilateral relations and ways to develop them in addition to a number of issues of common concern. President Park, who has been on a nine-day regional trip, has already visited Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Qatar is the last leg of her current Middle East tour.
