The Al Sadd Sports Club has hosted  activities of the “Shooot” programme, intended to raise awareness among the children in the 7-12 age group about road safety by unifying football actions with traffic signs and signals.  
The event was part of a series being organised by the Ministry of Interior’s Public Relations Department in association with Qatar Police Sports Federation (QPSF) at the sports clubs in the country.
About 45 children participated in the safety awareness programme held in the sub-stadium of Al Sadd. The events were attended by Col Adil Ahmad Malullah, assistant chairman of QPSF, Captain Hassan Othman, ex-coach of the national team and Captain Fathi Abdoun, technical manager of kids football team of Al Sadd sports club.
Captain Othman lauded the initiative saying that the physical fitness reinforced by an aware mind is very important for a secure society and he underscored that awareness campaigns are much needed in every walk of the society.
