HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday attended the closing ceremony of the Annual Purebred Arabian Camel Races for HH the Emir’s sword, which was held at Al Shahaniya race track. The Emir honoured the winners of the eight major final sections of the race as well as the event’s sponsors. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai, also honoured the winners. Prince Turki bin Mohamed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, the chairman of the Saudi Committee for Camel Races, was among the dignitaries who were present.
