To continue Ooredoo’s ongoing celebration of the biggest cricket event this year, the company yesterday announced an opportunity for all Hala subscribers to win a host of cash prizes just for making an international call.
The competition aims to reward all cricket fans who share their excitement with their loved ones overseas about the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, the company has said in a statement.
The competition requires Hala subscribers to call an international number for three or more consecutive minutes in order to be entered into a free raffle draw.
Customers eligible to enter the draw will get a chance to win one of 24 QR2,000 daily prizes, four weekly prizes of QR10,000 and a grand prize of QR100,000.
The competition will end on March 28 and winners will be notified by April 12. Hala users subscribed to any of Ooredoo’s portfolio of international money-saving options, such as the Hala India Key, Hala International Saver key and more, will also be eligible for the competition.
This is the latest in a long line of offers for the cricket season as the company is offering Mozaic TV Pehla Variety package customers access to a higher tier package - OSN Pehla Spice Plus free of charge, which includes full coverage of the World Cup on the OSN Sports Cricket channel.
The ICC Cricket World Cup is being hosted by Australia and New Zealand and kicked off on February 14. There are 49 matches being played across 14 venues, all available in HD via
Mozaic TV.
