Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour yesterday met with  Qatar’s Attorney General HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, who is on a visit to Jordan.  
During the meeting,  the attorney general, who is also the United Nations special advocate for the prevention of corruption, presented a detailed explanation on the agreement he had signed on Sunday with the University of Jordan’s president to establish a chair at the university to fight corruption, in addition to the support to be provided for the university in the rule of law and anti-corruption fields.   
Ensour welcomed the initiative and stressed his support for all aspects of judicial co-operation.  At another meeting, the attorney general and Jordanian minister of justice Bassam Sameer al-Talhouni discussed the judicial systems in both countries.
Al-Marri also met with Higher Judicial Council and Court of Cassation president Hisham Tal where they exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
The meetings were attended by  Qatar’s Ambassador to Jordan Zayed bin Saeed al-Khayareen and the delegation accompanying the attorney general.
