The 12th edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition that ended yesterday attracted more than 40,000 visitors, a spokesperson for the organisers said.
Hosted by QTA, q.media Events and Fira Barcelona at the Qatar National Convention Centre, the exhibition, which opened on February 23, brought an extraordinary collection of jewellery and watches  from top manufacturers to Qatar.
The Doha exhibition is recognised as one of the most significant events that attracts the pioneers of the jewellery and watch industry from around the world. This year’s edition was worth over $2bn.
The exhibition covered an area of 42,914sqm  with more than 500 participating brands.
Ibrahim Abdullah al-Malki, chief enterprise officer at q.media, said: “The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition is recognised as one of the key events in the Middle East and worldwide. We, as organisers, have given our best to put up an outstanding show for both exhibitors and visitors.”
