All banks, insurance companies, exchange houses and financial institutions governed by Qatar Central Bank will remain closed on Sunday in view of a QCB directive.
These institutions have informed their customers about their March 1 official holiday through SMS messages and information on their website.
Certain banks said some select branches would, however, service their customers at specified time today. Other banks said none of their branches would function today.
