Pari Gallery, a distributor of several brands of watches, perfumes and jewellery in Qatar, is showcasing more than 40 top international brands at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2015.
Salaman Abdul Rahim, general manager, Pari Gallery, said that the retailer has some of the very exclusive collections from top global brands.
He said: “We have some of the top brands in our collection. They include several Swiss watches, perfumes and a jewellery brand. We have the special editions and limited editions of several leading brands.
He added: “Qataris are known for buying the most exclusive products from some of the best shopping destinations around the globe. We have the confidence that we are providing the best possible products for our patrons in Qatar. More than 60% of our customers are female.”
G K Shenoy, of Shenoy Jewellery, said that the brand was introduced in Qatar some six years ago. “This year, we have introduced fancy cut diamonds. Different shapes of diamonds are used in our jewellery which are handmade,” he said.
The jewellery at Shenoy is reasonably priced and affordable for all categories of people. The fancy cut ones start at QR100,000 and go up to QR1mn. The normal ones begin with a price range of QR50,000 and above.
“Majority of our customers are Qataris. We make only unique items as every piece is only one of its kind. Unless the customer wants another piece of the same, we will not produce it again,” added the jeweller.
Shenoy Jewellery is mainly based in the region. “We are present all over the region and our main office is in Dubai. We take part in all the exhibitions in the region and we do not go for the European exhibitions as well as in the European
market.”
