The freshman admissions for the Fall 2015 semester at Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ) will remain open through March 1, it was announced on Wednesday.
Applicants can visit the Texas A&M Engineering Building in the Education City campus and meet with the Office of Admissions.
Admissions officers and advisers are available to meet students and explain application requirements and the admissions process Sunday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm.
“Texas A&M commands an international reputation as one of the world’s premier engineering programmes, and TAMUQ builds on that esteem,” said Maha Ayyash, director of admissions.
Students at TAMUQ receive the same top-tier training as their counterparts enrolled at the main campus in College Station, Texas, US.
TAMUQ offers accredited programmes in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering, and ranks among the top American universities for education and research.
“Texas A&M at Qatar’s faculty are among the best in their fields, and students have access to a wide array state-of-the-art engineering facilities and labs,” the official added.
