HE the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Dr Abdullah Saleh Mubarak al-Khulaifi met the Bangladeshi Minister of Labour, Employment, Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain in Doha yesterday.
Talks focused on aspects of co-operation between the two countries and ways of strengthening and developing them and issues of common concern. Senior ministry officials attended the meeting.
Emir sends message to Tunisian leader
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani sent a written message to Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi dealing with bilateral relations and issues of joint interest. Ambassador of Qatar to Tunisia Abdullah bin Nasser al-Humaidi handed over the message, during a meeting with the Tunisian president yesterday.
Qatar-Croatia defence relations reviewed
HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General Ghanim bin Shaheen al-Ghanim met the Chief of General Staff of Croatian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Drago Lovric and his accompanying delegation in Doha yesterday.
They reviewed areas of military co-operation between the two countries and exchanged views on matters of common concern. The meeting was attended by senior officers of the armed forces.
NHRC chief meets Irish ambassador
National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Secretary General Maryam bint Abdullah al-Attiyah yesterday met Irish Ambassador to Doha Patrick Hennessy.
They reviewed co-operation in issues of mutual interest and exchange of expertise in the field of human rights.
Free recall campaign for Mercedes Benz S Coupe 2014 vechicles
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced a free recall campaign for Mercedes Benz S Coupe vehicles 2014 to reprogramme the sunroof system and check the accessories of real nickel and replace if necessary. The campaign is conducted in co-operation with Nasser bin Khalid Automobiles, the dealer of Mercedes Benz in Qatar.
Hungary parliament speaker arrives in Doha
Hungary’s Parliament Speaker Laszlo Kover and his accompanying delegation arrived in Doha yesterday evening on a visit, at the invitation of HE the Advisory (Shura) Council Speaker Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi.
The speaker and his accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by the Advisory Council Speaker, the Secretary-General of the Shura Council Fahd bin Mubarak al-Khayareen, as well as Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Qatar Dr Istvan Elter.
