Renowned Swiss watchmaker Zenith launched a limited edition of its watches at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition yesterday.
There are 15 of these limited edition watches to mark the 15th year of partnership with Blue Salon, the official distributor of Zenith watches in Qatar.
Nabil A R Abou Issa, vice chairman and president, Blue Salon Group, said that these limited edition watches are in high demand. “There is a high demand from our customers for these watches. They are made with super precision technology of Zenith. They are marvellous pieces and embody the spirit of the craftsmanship of Zenith.”
He added: “We have crafted 15 watches with master technology which will be a great souvenir for our customers. They are Zenith watches of El Primero brand. Each watch is priced at QR54,000. The name Qatar is written in Arabic on the dial of the watches.”
He also remarked that Zenith watches are retailed only in the UAE and Qatar in the region. “It shows the importance of Doha market for Zenith. The Doha market has been growing steadily for Zenith and we have a great number of customers who are always patronising our products.”
Zenith, with a history of over 150 years of watch making, has been synonymous with exactitude, excellence and craftsmanship. According to the Blue Salon official, Zenith watches have carved a niche in the Qatari market, along with the excellent services offered by Blue Salon.
Meanwhile, Blue Salon is also showcasing some of the rarest pieces of Christie’s at the exhibition. Many of the rare historical pieces such a tiara worn by the last Tsarina of Russia are displayed at the pavilion.

jewellery.
