Doha Bank has participated in a career fair organised by Education City, which featured leading Qatari universities.
The career fair brought together campus students and employers and opened networking and employment opportunities to participants. Doha Bank representatives also provided career consultation to graduate and undergraduate students during
the event.
Doha Bank Group CEO Dr R Seetharaman said: “As an organisation that has always taken the lead in creating rewarding career opportunities for promising Qatari talents, Doha Bank is very excited to have joined forces with Education City for this important initiative.”
He added: “The career fair provided us an opportunity to gain access and connect with a large pool of qualified candidates, and served to underline the wealth of talent we now have in the universities and colleges of Qatar.”
Leading educational institutions that participated in the career fair included Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar, Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, Texas A&M University at Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, HEC Paris in Qatar, and UCL Qatar.
Seetharaman said Doha Bank took advantage of the career fair platform to attract many potential candidates and offer internship and scholarship programmes to talented Qatari
undergraduate students.
He noted that Doha Bank received more than 90 applicants, who expressed interest in becoming part of the bank’s
“dynamic workforce.”
