HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani holding talks with Iraqi President Dr Fuad Masum at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Iraqi President Dr Fuad Masum held a round of official talks at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.
The talks dealt with bilateral relations and means of enhancing them, in addition to regional and international issues.
The talks were attended by HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, several ministers and the official delegation accompanying the Iraqi president.
Following the talks, the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Iraqi president and the accompanying delegation.
Earlier on arrival at the Emiri Diwan, the Iraqi president was accorded an official reception ceremony.
Meanwhile, HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani held a separate meeting with Iraqi President Fuad Masum yesterday.
Talks during the meeting, which was held in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, dealt with bilateral relations and the latest developments on the Arab and international arenas.
HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister also met Iraq’s Interior Minister, Mohamed Salem al-Ghaban, National Security Adviser, Faleh Fayad and President of the Iraqi Republic Consultant, Sherwan al-Waeli yesterday.
Talks dealt during the meeting with the co-operation between the two countries and issues of mutual interest.
Later yesterday evening President Fuad Masum and his accompanying delegation left Doha  after an official visit to Qatar.
They were seen off at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada.
