HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud met the US Special Envoy for Sudan and South Sudan Donald Booth yesterday. Discussions focused on strengthening the peace process in Darfur and efforts being made to urge non-signatory Darfur armed movements to join the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD) and involve them in the national dialogue in Sudan.
