Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) has agreed to be the official insurer of the world-class Commercial Bank Qatar Masters golf tournament to be held at the Doha Golf Club from Wednesday.
“As the official insurer of this year’s prestigious Commercial Bank Qatar Masters golf tournament, QIC has again demonstrated its continued commitment to local sporting events and to raising Qatar’s regional and global profile in support of the Qatar National Vision 2030,” Khalifa A al-Subaey, QIC Group President and CEO, said.
QIC is the market leader in Qatar and a dominant insurer in the Gulf Co-operation Council and wider Middle East and North Africa regions.
It also has a growing international presence through the group’s reinsurance arm, Qatar
Reinsurance Company (Qatar Re), which writes all major property, casualty and specialty lines from its headquarters in Doha and branch offices in Zurich and Bermuda.
