Sultan bin Ibrahim al-Mahmoud, consul-general of Qatar in Istanbul, has held a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The event was attended by Vasip Sahin, governor of Istanbul, alongside dignitaries, heads and members of diplomatic missions, financiers, businessmen and the media. Commercial Bank CEO Abdulla Saleh al-Raisi also attended the event, which included well-known, senior Turkish, Arab and foreign officials. Al-Raisi expressed pleasure at participating in and attending the event held on this special occasion. He noted that Qatar’s National Day is an important occasion for all Arab brothers and friends, noting at the same time the impressive size of the audience attending the ceremony, held by the consulate-general of Qatar in Istanbul. The CEO of Commercial Bank praised the efforts in organising the event. |
