The third Students’ Gathering organised by the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), and sponsored by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, saw the participation of more than 1,000 students representing 39 high/preparatory schools across Doha |
Brig Ali al-Rashid, Commander of Special Operations, and other commanders of Lekhwiya departments were present at the event, which took place on Thursday. Brig Dr Mohamed Abdulla al-Mahanna al-Marri, director of Police
College, also attended the event along with a number
of officers from the college.
The aim of the event was to further strengthen nationalism and love of the homeland and to give the students a glimpse of the work done by Lekhwiya .
The event consisted of training drills and some rescue scenarios, which were conducted by Lekhwiya personnel.
