Vodafone Qatar announced yesterday that the latest Galaxy Note Edge is now available at its stores making it the first operator in the country to launch the highly-awaited smartphone. |
Offered in Villaggio Mall, Landmark Mall, City Center Mall, Al Nasr and Al Gharafa, the Galaxy Note Edge (QR4,499) is also available on its e-Shop at www.vodafone.qa/Go/NoteEdge. Also, the handset will be offered in other Vodafone retail stores in the future, the company said.
The Galaxy Note Edge is the latest addition to Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Note series. Taking the mobile experience to the next level, the Galaxy Note Edge features a one-of-a-kind Edge Screen, which offers users a totally revolutionary way of accessing information and engaging with their mobile device.

The Galaxy Note Edge’s unique curved Edge Screen provides quick access to frequently used apps, alerts, and device functionality even when the cover is closed – all with the swipe of a finger. Its design also enables users to receive notifications directly on the Edge Screen while watching videos without disturbing their viewing.
The design concept of the Galaxy Note Edge makes everyday tasks and multitasking easier and more efficient, echoing Samsung’s consumer-centric approach that catapulted the Note to success.
To reduce the chances of the device being dropped, Samsung’s designers carefully considered where to place each icon. For example, the camera shutter button on the Edge Screen is located in the middle rather than the bottom for easier use.
Additionally, the front edge of the curved screen lies flat between the upper and lower bezel to protect the screen.The Edge Screen also helps users express their personality and taste, by allowing them to design their own Edge Screen with their favourite images and text, including those composed with the S Pen.
Additionally, useful tools, such as ruler, stopwatch, timer, flashlight, and voice recorder, can be launched through the Edge Screen’s Quick Tool feature. The Galaxy Note Edge is available in “Charcoal Black” and “Frost White”.
