Ethiopian Ambassador to Qatar Mesganu Arga Moach has praised the role played by the Cultural Village Public Corporation (Katara) and its various activities and events that will bring closer the cultures of peoples.
The Ethiopian ambassador also hailed the close relations between his country and the State of Qatar, praising its efforts for supporting and pushing forward investment and the development in his country. He expressed his admiration for the great development Qatar is experiencing at different levels.
Ambassador Mesganu made his remarks during a meeting he held yesterday morning, along with his accompanying delegation, with Director General of General Cultural Village Public Corporation Dr Khalid al-Sulaiti.
During the meeting Dr al-Sulaiti briefed him on Katara as a crossroads of world cultures and a distinguished cultural and tourism destination in the State and region.
Condolence cables sent
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables to King Philippe of Belgium condoling the death of Belgium’s former queen Fabiola.
