HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani is the new QIA chairman.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has issued Emiri Decision No. 89 of 2014, reshuffling Qatar Investment Authority's board of directors.
As per the decision, the board will comprise HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani as chairman, HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani as vice-chairman, and HE Ali Sharif al-Emadi, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud al-Thani and HE Dr Hussein Ali al-Abdullah as members.
HH the Emir issued Emiri Decision No. 90 of 2014, appointing HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Saud al-Thani as chief executive officer of Qatar Investment Authority.
The decisions are effective from the date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
