HE the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Dr Abdullah Saleh Mubarak al-Khulaifi met the Iranian Minister of Co-operatives, Labour and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei in Tehran yesterday.
They reviewed aspects of co-operation between Qatar and Iran and means of developing them.
They also followed up on the agreement signed between the two countries in 2008 for enhancing bilateral ties, and expressed their readiness to develop relations on issues of mutual concern.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia condoling the death of the mother of Prince Talal bin Mansour bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
FM meets chief of Pakistan province
HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah yesterday met Chief Minister of Punjab province in Pakistan, Mohamed Shahbaz Sharif, and the delegation accompanying him.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on issues of common concern.
Qatar-Iraq ties discussed
HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri and the delegation accompanying him.
They discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them. The two sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Separately, HE the Advisory Council Speaker Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi met Iraqi parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri and the delegation accompanying him.
The meeting reviewed existing parliamentary ties between the two fraternal countries and means of enhancing and developing them.
HE the Advisory Council Deputy Speaker Issa bin Rabea al-Kuwari attended the meeting.

HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah has received a message from Omani Minister in Charge of Foreign Affairs Youssuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah connected with relations between the two countries.
The message was handed over by Omani Ambassador to Qatar Mohamed al-Wahaibi.

HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyaha has received a copy of credentials of Saleh bin Mohamed al-Amri as Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Qatar. The Minister wished the new ambassador success in his mission.
