Rain and thunderstorms have been forecast in Qatar from Friday evening until mid-day Saturday.
“Low and medium clouds with a good chance of rain and thunderstorms may occur at times around Qatar causing inconvenience to road traffic,” Qatar Meteorology Department said.
It is expected that Doha city will be affected by late evening on Friday. During the weekend, the wind is going to be northwesterly, fresh to strong in speed, reaching up to 28 knots at times offshore and sea waves rising up to 11ft on Saturday.
Temperatures will continue to decrease gradually, especially Saturday, ranging from 19C to 26C in Doha city and lower by about three to four degrees on the outskirts.
