Following the success of the 11th Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) in February this year, Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) will host the 12th edition of the annual event from February 24 to 28 at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha.

DJWE 2015 will attract over 500 of the most exclusive international and regional brands, the QTA said in a statement.

The 2015 exhibition will be held across five major halls at QNCC, covering a space of 25,000sqm. The increase in exhibition space by 25% shows the growing demand from the international luxury sector to participate and exhibit in this annual event, the statement added.

The layout of the show floor has been refined to provide an even more enhanced experience for visitors and participants alike. Several customised marketing and communications campaigns will be implemented to ensure that the 500 exhibiting brands gain maximum exposure, reach and impact through increased regional and international media coverage.

DJWE 2015 will showcase creative brilliance, master craftsmanship, ultimate luxury, the latest trends in the industry and pure glamour. The display of the finest gemstones and unique watches will make the 12th edition a well-anticipated event among connoisseurs and consumers alike, the statement said.

The event, being organised by QTA in conjunction with q.media and Fira de Barcelona, portrays the dynamism of Qatar and its robust and progressive economy. QTA will host a press conference in Doha next month to provide the media with further details of the upcoming exhibition.

The 11th edition of DJWE was held at QNCC between February 25 and March 2. The six-day event hosted the finest and best-in-class international brands such as Mouawad, David Webb, Cartier, Chopard, Boucheron, Al Zain Trading Co, Graff/Qatar Marketing Co and Christie’s Jewellery, exhibiting their product portfolios and unveiling of world-class pieces.

Brand ambassador of IWC Schaffhausen and Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton and renowned Lebanese pop icon Maya Diab, the face of Voyageur jewellery brand, attended the exhibition.
