HE the Minister of Environment Ahmed Amer Mohamed al-Humaidi met Sudanese Minister of Environment, Forestry and Urban Development Hassan Abdel Qader Helal here yesterday.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with co-operation in environmental projects that are implemented in Sudan.
HE the Minister of Environment stressed the Qatari government’s keenness to co-operate with the Sudanese government in the areas of environment, hailing the development of bilateral relations in all fields.
He said that the visit comes at the invitation by his Sudanese counterpart, stressing the desire of the Qatari and the Sudanese leaderships in developing relations and increasing co-operation.
The Sudanese minister said the talks touched on environmental projects to combat desertification and drought and fighting pollution in addition to water projects.
