HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani performed the Eid prayer yesterday morning at the Al-Wajbah praying area.
HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa al-Thani took part in the prayer along with a group of sheikhs, ministers, ambassadors and citizens.
Dr Thaqeel Sayer al-Shammari, Court of Cassation judge and Supreme Judiciary Council member, who led the prayer, delivered the Eid sermon in which he urged the people to love and tolerate each other and to benefit from Eid al-Adha by doing good deeds, maintaining ties with kinship and following the path of Prophet Muhammad.
He also called on Muslims to seize the opportunity to show the unity and co-operation of the Muslim nation.
