HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari has emphasised the importance of the Culture Ministry’s participation in the activities of Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, being organised in Paris by Qatar Equestrian Federation today and tomorrow.
The ministry is participating in the race with a delegation representing “all aspects of Qatar’s cultural, artistic heritage”, Dr al-Kuwari said. The General Authority for Tourism and Qatar Museums is also taking part.
“The ministry is very keen on representing Qatar in this global race at the highest level,” he added.
He noted that participation in such events contributed to the dissemination of Qatari culture, stressing that concerted efforts from all Qatari institutions reflected the country’s best image.
