The Thai embassy organised a cooking demonstration yesterday at the Marriott Marquis City Center hotel to further promote Thai food in Qatar. Veteran chefs from Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, one of the most popular culinary schools in Thailand, were invited to do the demo and cook authentic Thai food in front of guests, embassy officials and community members. Attendees were also given the chance to cook prawn Pad (also called phat) Thai and prepare a Thai salad at the event, which is part of the ongoing Thai food festival in Doha. PICTURE: Thajudheen
