Employees of Qatar Petroleum (QP) have participated in an awareness lecture on traffic rules and regulations held at the QP Training Centre in the College of the North Atlantic Qatar.
Organised by the Traffic Awareness and Information Department of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), more than 170 QP employees benefited from the session.
Ministry of Interior’s Traffic Awareness officer Lt Abdul Wahid al-Anzi said the session revolved around topics on safety and traffic violations committed by motorists and pedestrians.
The participants also viewed awareness videos that highlighted risks of crossing signals and overtaking on the right side.
Al-Anzi added that the lecture was organised as part of the traffic department’s thrust to create a healthy traffic culture and reduce traffic incidents with the co-operation of establishments and civil authorities in the country.
