Fifty One East has won the 2014 Qatar Enterprise Agility Award (retail sector) at the inaugural awards ceremony organised by Entrepreneur Mena magazine in association with Barclays in Doha.

Darwish Holding retail business unit manager Daniel Lattouf received the award.

Ezdan Holding received the Qatar Enterprise Agility Award for real estate.

Ezdan Holding Group CEO Ali Mohamed al-Obaidli received the award from Qatar Chamber vice chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Tawar al-Kuwari.

According to organisers, Ezdan Holding Group was awarded for its “distinct level of performance and excellence in the Qatari real estate industry, in addition to the diversity of its products offered in various other sectors, which puts the company in the lead position among real estate companies in Qatar and the region”.

The Hospitality Enterprise Agility Achiever award for Entrepreneur of the Year went to Katara Hospitality, Qatar’s leading hotel owner, developer and operator. Salem al- Kubaisi, chief corporate services officer of Katara Hospitality, received the award from Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Towar al- Kuwari, vice chairman of Qatar Chamber.
